Making Stuff about Stuff | Workshop
Scottee invites anyone with ideas above their station or an axe to grind, with stuff they want to get off their chest and willing to shout from the rooftops to sign up to his Autumn workshop!
Making Stuff about Stuff will explore making short performance, variety, theatre and live art about stuff that matters - politics, sex, sexuality, gender, poverty, race, class, identity and then some!
You'll learn how to create politically motivated work, devise activist art, socially engaged practice, ideas generation and how to harness the fire in your belly effectively.
Over the two day workshop we'll also touch on the art of facilitating stories and how to navigate an arts scene that thinks community engagement is potato stamping!
This workshop will be held on 5th & 6th September in London, costs £175 per person and is open to all ages and abilities!
