I first met June at a festival in park, in a portacabin in East London. After 3 hrs of nattering she cleared the mock up dressing room of fellow main stage performers and asked me to dress her. Since then we've chewed the fat, mulled things over, discussed the politics of age and talked alot about show biz and craft over cheese and wine.
I love that my mate is June Brown MBE off the telly. She popped down to Hamburger Queen on Thursday and in true June style she grabbed the mic and told the crowd what not to eat, what to avoid and why we should all smoke.
