We're back at the Hackney Empire for EAT YOUR HEART OUT 1st BIRTHDAY!
Yes a year ago we aimed to rid the UK of Burlesque, so far Camden & Westminister have closed venues down for putting on burlesque shows without license, many a burlesque troupe have folded and gone back to working at Gregs and the economic downturn has made the city boys put their dirty dollars back in the bank and swiped from the Ann Summers frilly pants of 'liberated' 30 somethings.
Since our humble beginings at Working Mens Clubs to Hackney Empire we've aimed to push the avant garde out of London and into the great cities of Britain, last month we conquered Bristol and Brighton, both will become regular features. 2010 see's us expand to Liverpool and Glasgow PLUS a two week run in Edinburgh in August.
You dont think this is enough? We agree. We will also be bringing you one off events from a VERY special ROYAL venue and from a double decker bus... but until then...
